Mrs. Jacqueline (Jackie) Blackwell Bracken, First Lady of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, is a God-fearing noblewoman with passion and warmth. Mrs. Bracken is a spiritual woman and is the mainstay behind the ministry of her husband, Rev. Dr. David L. Bracken.
A native of Reidsville, North Carolina, she is the oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Larry Blackwell. Mrs. Baracken is a graduate of the Rockingham Public Schools and attended Rockingham Community College. She retired from the Rockingham County Social Service Department as a Case Worker for Food and Nutrition in 2010.
She is presently working in Patient Services at Central Carolina Surgery. Mrs. Bracken is a consultant for Mary Kay.
Mrs. Bracken demonstrates a deep commitment to her faith and her church. She truly believes Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. She is a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Annie Duke Missionary Circle and the mass choir. Mrs. Bracken is the past presient of the Rowan Baptist Association Woman's Auxillary. She is a woman of true beauty, inside and out, and has an abundance of love for all who cross her path.
Mrs. Bracken is married to the Rev. Dr. David L. Bracken and mother of Charryse and Paul, and the grandmother of Titus.
